Aditi,
Thanks for the kind words about my site.

Your experience with that CEO is not unique. They don't intend to waste time and they typically want relevant, succinct answers to their questions. I have served on senior management staffs for 2 SMBs and worked with 6 different CEOs, and most of them were very keenly aware of how much time they spend with anyone.

His question - Why should people follow you? - is a good one; and similar to the one that we should always be trying to answer - So What? - whenever we're writing/presenting to anyone.

Good luck with your blog. Anyone reading this comment please check out Aditi's weekly poll at www.socialkonnect.wordpress.com

Phil,

Thanks for dropping by.

First thing first, I really like the simple yet professional layout of your webpage.

You are so right selling to a CEO is not an easy job. I recently had a conversation with a CEO, and i have to say that i felt like as if i was giving an interview and he kept on asking me rapid fire questions. :)

One question that he asked me was so silly yet very thought provoking, he asked, you have so many followers on twitter ... Why should people follow you?

Interesting right :)
